Program Overview

Designed to enable the trainee to work in the accounting environment using computerized packages. After the completion of the training the trainee will be able to use the financial software with the different modules & make journal entries, work on payables, receivables, inventory, sales, purchasing and generate all the necessary reports and financial statements.

1st Part: Introduction of Financial Accounting

  • Analysis of transaction and events.

    • Comprehensive T-Accounting illustration.
    • Chart of Accounts.

    • Financial Statements from trial balance.
  • Computerized processing systems.
  • The core of financial statements.

2nd Part: Designing an advanced accounting information system by using MS-Excel 2010

  • Setting up a workbook.
  • Working with data and Excel tables.
  • Performing calculations on data.
  • Creating formulas and functions to calculate values.
  • Summarizing data meets specific conditions.
  • Finding and correcting errors in calculations.
  • Preparing and design an accounting information system.
    • Prepare and design G. Journal.
    • Prepare and design Chart of accounts.
    • Prepare and design Trial Balance.
    • Prepare and design Financial Statements.

3rd Part: Manage Readymade accounting information systems

  • Understanding the basics of all readymade accounting information system Concepts and rules.
  • Setup company and its chart of accounts using Peachtree program.
  • Setting up company’s policies.
  • Setting up the vendors and customers.
  • Setting up the inventory items.
  • Manage accounts receivables transactions.
  • Manage accounts Payable transactions.
  • Generating financial statements.
  • Analysis the financial statements and convert it to MS-Excel.

  • Creating Vendors, purchase orders, receiving items, receiving bills, paying bills.
  • Creating Customers, sales orders, Invoices, receiving payments.
  • Maintain Inventory.
  • Generate all types of reports, financial statements, vendors and customer’s reports.
